Y belt - contact with middle bar support

day one of my first reprap build! (Prusa)

The lower part of the Y belt loop (teeth side) is making contact with the middle threaded bar - is this normally that close and/or touching? I've even reversed the direction of the vertical smooth rod clamps to try and maximize the clearance... still slightly touching... in the meantime, I've covered the threads with electrical tape to at least keep the travel smooth.

I've tried to look at other's builds, but that part is usually obscured by the build platform. I'll take a picture if needed.

Read the red text here. You want the middle threaded rod below the frame.

Thanks... I was just out in the garage looking at that and decided I should swing that bar around to the bottom... that will leave a lot more space with the belt going over the top.

I was just going off garyhodgson's PDF instructions - and very directly - perhaps that section needs to be updated.

UPDATE: done, fixed and much much better.

FYI: The newest version of gary hodgson's instructions do instruct to place that rod below the frame.
