Full with printerhead for powder printer

New guy here with powdered dreams.

HP has launched some interesting inkjet printers recently with full with printerhead. They have a stationary printerhead wide enough to print the whole with of the page. They also have big ink cartridges and you probably could modify them to take continous feed/automatic topping.

Also they have set a Guiness world record in printing speed:

Think of the speed you could have (if the powder dries quick enough that is..)!

The printable area would be atleast 210x297mm (A4 paper size). For the Z you can decide what is best for your appliacation.

Do you think this could be a good contestant for a 3D powder printer solution?

The price is not so bad i think if it is usable for powder printing.

... there are some DIY-powderbed printers built with salvaged/modified ink-jets -- so, yes, this could be a good start, if you will spend the money and time
