Z Corporation print cartridges

Posted by anon-y-mouse
I've managed to track down a bunch of Canon BC-20 print cartridges, cut them in half, and glue an o-ring + polystyrene tube down.

Unfortunately, at least my first attempt at making a print cartridge has failed.

Has anyone else out there tried making their own print cartridges for the Z Corp Z400 series printers?

It recognizes the cartridge just fine, but the binder doesn't flow through the print head. I replaced it with a premium cartridge to be sure the machine was still working, and indeed, it's printing just fine.

Someone help! These things can't be that hard to make!
So... you've secured a source for the raw materials, and now you're trying to basically refill & build your own cartridges?
