dimension alterated in y-axis

Hi to all,
I'm sure that this problem ha been discussed, but I can't find relative post.

I've a wrong y-setting and when I print some object it is printed distorted, overstretched on t direction.
where do I change setting to resolve this problem?
what can I do??

You change the Y_STEPS_PER_MM in the firmware.

Sorry for my great ignorance, I'm trying to find informations about printer settings, but I can't find something like a real explained manual or other.
I've gen7 hardware, and I don't know how to change firmware... Have I to send command by command line in skeingorge?
where I find config.h??
i read calibration page on wiki, but I can't answer this questions..

(for complete my dubts, if possible, can you link me right equation to calculate value of Y_STEPS_PER_MM)

You bought a Gen7 with a firmware already loaded ? Where did you get it ?

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
