I've tried this link [fabmetheus.crsndoo.com] several times in the last week or two to get the latest manual for SF. It's always broken. (Some sql / php error)

Anyone got an up to date alternative or a pdf link please?

Every module has a sort of a manual inside the file. Just open it with a text editor...
It is more up to date thatn the website anyway..

I made a copy of SF50 web manual, for Craft and Analyse sections. Here we can't attach too big files so you can find zipped files there:

Craft section (2,3 Mo)
Analyse section (370 Ko)

But what is the reason the website is down? Is the development by the orginal maker of skeinforge completely stopped? that would be a pity.

That's certainly what it looks like, although I can't be certain. The first clue is that the software hasn't been updated since March of 2012, and now the website is down for no stated reason.

I like skeinforge a lot, and have been a devotee for a long time, but it keeps falling further and further behind developments in this hobby. I find myself more and more using slic3r.
