How to choose wich face is down?
February 24, 2010 08:07AM
Hi guys, i am fairly new to this, and have only just started messing about with Skienforge, and the Reprap software. Now in the Reprap software i am able to rotate the model and choose its orientation before i post the Gcode, can this also be done in Skienforge? as i have some models that should be in a different orientation when posting the Gcode.

Thanks.

Hi Steve,

... you have to adjust the orientation of your model in a CAD-program ...

Try Netfabb to compare them for your taste.
It is believed to be much better.

I´m more for the automatic and manual repair-functions.

If you have a mac pleasant3D is the way to go for orientation and centering.
