Skeinforge and Python 3.x??
April 14, 2011 09:43AM
I am looking at installing Blender which requires Python 3.x

Skeinforge documentation states it requires Python 2.x

Python has made a break moving from version 2 to version 3 so backwards compatibility is not assured.

Does anyone know for certain (1'st hand experience) of whether Skeinforge will run on Python 3.x?

Thanks

[Edit] seems I can install a Blender executable and only need python if I wish to build from source.

My question regarding Skeinforge and Python 3.x still stands though.

Hi,

Kliment made a package which contains all you need to run skeinforge 40, no need for python. It's build to run from usb stick, but I guess you can just put it on your harddrive too. It also contains a default profile made by OhmEye.Download this: [koti.kapsi.fi]
