I'm going crazy with my heat bed issue hoping someone here could help. I have 1.3a rev. and recently added a heat bed to it. With updated firmware (added heat bed and thermistor settings in marlin), I tried to heat up the bed, but the hot end also get heated up even though I only set temp for the bed and before the bed reaches target temp, hot end went over the max temp and the whole thing shut down. So now, when I do printing, the heatbed will come on even when I don't set any bed temp in slic3r, it'll heat up along with the hot end and maintain at whatever temp it gets to when hot end reached it's target temp. I can't seem to control the heat bed independently. Am I missing some settings in the firmware? In fear of burning my atx connector, I've made mod on the board according to this
mod (enhance bed heater trace), I've double check the trace I did, I don't think it should cause what I'm seeing, but can't be sure. Any suggestions where I should look? Thanks.
