Hi
Is there any reason why an ATMEGA644p is required, or is an ATMEGA644-20PU OK? I have an ATMEGA644-20PU lying around which I'd like to use for my sanguinololu board.

sorry it isn't. The P version has an extra uart which you need for the sanguinololu
