Supplier of stepper motors (germany)

Hi,
Im from germany and want to build my first Mendel Prusa. I got everything except the stepper motors since I'm on a tight budget rigt now I wanted to ask if you guys know a cheap supplier for stepper motors shipping to germany at a reasonable price. I found this site which has pretty good prices: [www.circuitspecialists.com]
but they don't ship to germany. and I'm not sure if their motors work (pretty hight resistance I think they are for more than 12V)
So it would be awesome if you guys could tell me a really good supplier where I get all the stepper motors I need for around 60$ (including shipping to germany).
Thanks

Try [www.ebay.com] or [www.ebay.com]

Cheap used motors, you can probably get 5 for 50/55$ including shipping to europe.

Well the ebay motors are on a good price level. The shipping is as expensive as the motors but never mind. My problem is I need motors where I can get the same ones over and over again, preferably with a datasheet upfront.
My second problem is we are using current limitation with the elektronics and there is almost never anything about the voltage. With the PC Powersupply we are set to 12 Volts. So what should I look for when choosing one.

For 12V supply you should use steppers rated between 2 and 4 volts.

... choose the current specs.

The electronics drives the coils until the specified current is established, regardless which voltage you have (but below the max. specified voltage for your driver).

With a driver usable up to 35 Volts and 2 Amps you can use any motor rated with 2 Amps ... with 12 Volts it will run slower than with 24 or 30 Volts.

But caution with the max. specified voltage for the driver - with (max. specified) 35 Volts and heavy bac-EMF from your motor the driver will explode!

Well the voltage is often not specified what should I look for? The Resistance?

... my best motor for another application was rated with 3V/3A and my driver is capable of 70V/6A, but with adjusting to something around 2.5Amps they're both happy grinning smiley

You should prefere motors with lover voltage/resistance, as they can run with much higher dynamic ...
