10 wires steeper motor

Hello all,

I have this 10 wires steeper motor and i would like to use it for my reprap extruder.
Can i use this type of steeper with pololu steeper driver ? how to connect it ?? how to find the right way to identify the wires ???

this is pictures of it :




and on the motor, the only i can see is :

Looks like a 5 phase motor, so no, you can't use it with a 2 phase driver.

Yes, it is a 5 phase stepper. What you need, if you ever want to make it work, is to use 5 H Bridges and polarize them in sequence. Have been meaning to do it for quite a while, but have never gotten around it.

5 Phase steppers give some of the best motion quality as the resolution is insane! I have heard of people using them to move telescopes, thanks to said superb motion quality.

I have never seen an integrated driver, though. They are just too rare and low volume for anybody to tackle them up.
