Just compleatinga build on plain carsitan xy printer, no corexy or hbot just plain old cartisan.

X axis has total length of 350mm with a light carrige running on a 20mm extrusion with 9mm mgn rail and bowden, i do have some 48mm steppers but was hopping to reduce weight a little.

I was hoping to get away with a 23mm (60oz.in) do you guys reakon this would be ok.

Thanks Adam

I am not familiar with oz.in but all 4 stepper drivers on my Ormerod have 23Ncm torque at rated current. They are 34mm long. The X motor runs at just 60% of rated current, which suggests that 15Ncm is sufficient torque.

now ive converted it from oz.in to cnm the specs wrong on the website i was looking at , 60oz.in is about 42cnm which is way to much for a 23mm stepper.

From what your saying it should be ok.

Thanks Adam
