I am looking for a shop that can help me with prototyping and small production runs of plastic parts. I have a project that uses Eagle for PCB design. The plastic parts need to be integrated into the PCB design, so I want to work as much as possible with the Eagle CAM processor, which puts out Gerber files.
There will be several cycles of prototyping. The parts needed now are for the plastic mounts for the PCB's and some clear acrylic plates used for covers. The mounts are strips of quarter inch black ABS, approx 1 x 8 inches, with about a dozen 3/16in holes. The cover plates are clear acrylic, approx 4mm thick and 5in square, with four 3/16in holes. Looks like a laser or router job, though the mounts could be redesigned for a 3-D printer, if that is the best way to go. There are also various plastic standoffs and washers needed.
