Can someone give me a quote for this - dimensions in mm

Can someone give me a price for this prototype. I am a total noob and am not even sure if this can be printed on reprap. the dimensions are in mm.

I can modify the design, if it helps print the big upside down part more easily. but there still are some semi-arches that have to be printed without support. Please let me know.

As is, it can't be printed without support. Is there a good reason automatic support is out of the question?

The unsupported crosspieces could be printed if there was structure under the ends of the 'bridge.' We cannot make non-straight lines in space without using the generated supports.

Here is a simplified version that doesn't probably need support. Please let me know about this one.

That version should be printable without any support.

The half arches might need some little post-cleaning depending on the machine and the operator.

I am getting it printed at shapeways for $15 including shipping - material is WSF. I was hoping that I might get a lower price here as I need some larger sized parts and shapeways was charging an arm and a leg for those models

To be honest 25$ seems a bit high IMO - but I never tried selling printed parts, so don't take my word on that.

The 25 was for it printed with a dimension machine/materials from what I can tell. which explains some of the cost.

Andrew Diehl@ Yep. I print on on either a dimension or a fortus FDM machine.

Stratasys ABS and support material is $~140/lbs

Stratasys or 3D systems would charge you ~$150!

On a reprap I can do this for 5€ plus shipping - but you won't get the same finish quality that a Stratasys can offer.
