Kontinuum Glide. The 3D-printable glidecam

As a videographer and reprap enthusiast I have been thinking about this for a while.

"A glidecam is a hand held camera stabilizer, which, through a 3 axis gimbal and a counter weight system, separates the movements of the camera operator from those of the camera, providing smoother motion for the viewer."

The Kontinuum Glide is all that, AND you can make it on your 3D printer.
I made one for my Canon 60D, but it's suitable for all dslr's and other small cameras, thanks to its adjustable camera carriage.

Printed on a Prusa Mendel, in white and black ABS.
Layer height 0,3mm

Aren't the Glidecams the greatest innovation for the video industry? What would be movies if the Glidecams wouldn't have been used? Of course, they are not using the ones that we use, like the Glidecam 2000 but thanks to them we have smaller ones. I have a Glidecam 2000 as I said, that I use for my Canon EOS 90D. It's a pretty old model but it does a wonderful job, at least it is perfect for my needs. I saw that they are sold even nowadays, on gimbalgarage. I have mine for 5 years already and I might upgrade to a Glidecam 4000 soon.
