lulz sorry i tend to get the two mixed up and use them as if they were synonymous, although I know i shouldnt! One hot end, one extruder. Pretty simple method, print, try to pause in the middle of an infill, lift z axis 10, turn motors off, change filament and manually extrude until complete color change, z-axis back down 10, resume print

Did you ever hear of Fabster? They have a printer that works with short pieces of ABS/PLA that lock into eachother, this way you can pre-arrange a selection of colors. Also, their filament is square... Crazy!
