Hi,

I like to share an experimental warm air blower for Mini Kossel.
Instead installing heating device on the aluminium print bed, I decided to build a warm air blower.
60W light bulb produces around 165 Celsius degrees heat. Blowing wind to it creates warm air.
It maintains the aluminium bed above 30 Celsius degrees.

Parts:
Cardboard
60W light bulb
Light bulb driver - holder, switch, power cord. You can salvage or buy small table light.
12V computer fan
Zip ties
Two pairs of AWG 22 wires, 50 cm

Equipment and tools:
Razer
Cutter
Pencil
Measuring tape or straight
Thermometer

I run the fan on 5V to reduce air flow.

Regular paper glue stick
It makes PLA filament stick to the bed.

This setup got rid of warping or floating first layer for PLA filament.
I think complete enclosure will increase the chamber temperature few degrees.

Is that a CFL bulb? An old style incandescent would get even warmer if yours is a CFL. Using a heat bulb would really warm things up.

I think it's an incandescent bulb.
