Hey folks,

This is a cool desktop, usb powered toy that i have made. Check the video link below. The toy has motion detection and is powered by arduino smiling smiley

Cool, this thing looks creepy!
Did you use silver filament or sprayed it afterwards?

Can you put a servo mechanism inside, that would move the eyes left/right?

I printed it in white PLA, then spray painted with chrome acrylic paint.

I will try the servo thingy but there is limited space. Will keep you posted.

Think about getting some Testors "Metalizer" paints. About $75.00 for 8 bottles. They come in polishable Aluminum and Gunmetal to name a few. Makes plastic look like real metal. Nice job.

Yep may be some more finishing work will eliminate that :-)
