Hey looks nice.. I'm quite new to the game - no printer built yet.
Trying to figure out stuff..

I'm pretty surprised though you can run the whole printer
via a single Molex connector.. I wonder how many Amps
it uses max? With all the steppers on and the hotend?
And what is the max this modest Molex is rated for?

Also, that little device on the side of your PSU - what was that?
I could see the fuse but what else is there?

1.7amps for hot end, 250mA for each stepper. Its usually runs @ about 2.5 amps on average. The board on the side of the psu was my first project, that has a 4 amp fuse. I could switch the jumpers and install my multimeter leads in the molex connect to monitor current. That was my old setup. Now the board is basically just a fuse and an pwr lite. I'm using this pwr supply because I bought this printer second hand from ebay and got it pretty cheap because it had a faulty power supply. I'm happy w/ my printer, it's been a good starter printer. Glad I didn't buy a new one..saved myself few hundred dollars and that buys allot of PLA.

thanks for watching...
