Carbon fiber and 3D printed rebuild
November 26, 2017 12:23PM
Here are some Images of a quad I am building. I bought a Turnigy Talon frame several years ago and I am re-purposing it. I have a 3d printer and the body and landing gear are printed and use carbon fiber as struts. The central cross frame is 14mm carbon fiber with a central housing. As shown it has a span of 750mm motor to motor. I will may reduce that once it is complete and tested.

... they'll need your google-account to open, so better attach/append them to the post instead ...

When I tried attaching, the picture was too big. How do you reduce the size?

... depending on the forum and browser I'm resizing the images to 1200px or 1024px width ...

So I take the admins advice yet again and still the photos are not viewable in the thread. They were resized and then attached. What did I do wrong this time?

... it's noting wrong with your images - if you want them to be displayed in the post (what can be pretty space-consuming), then place your cursor on the desired place and click on the button "Create link in message":

I've edited your previous post to show them in the post ... but sometimes it's better, to only attach them -- without embedding in the post ...

I guess I am not smart enough for this forum! Twenty some posts and I still can't post a photo. You were the one suggesting attaching them. I have no idea what embedding is so keep up the useless instructions!
