My 1st home made 3D printer

My 1st home made printer.
235mm x 270mm x 250mm build area. Heated bed, 2 in 1 out hot end, Mega2560 and RAMPS 1.4, lead screw drive all axis, TMC2209 stepper drivers.

Still working out a couple kinks and calibrating.

Interesting build. I think the original FDM printers were made with screws driving all axes. One of the reasons people use belts instead of screws is the much faster movement you can get using belts. What sort of print speeds do you anticipate?

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Cool looking "Green Monster"!

I am thinking of upgrading my RepRap Mega2560+RAMPS 1.4 printer to use TMC2209 drivers. Did you have any problems getting your TMC2209s to work? Was there a particular resource that you used to learn how to wire your drivers and configure Marlin?
