Delta's calibration, where to begin
August 17, 2015 04:12AM
Hi all,

After reading many post on this forum and a lot of DC42's documentation, I learned a lot but now many things seems confused in my head :-)
In the goal to put all clear ideas and in the good order, someone can give me different steps to calibrate my Delta.

Example
1st : testing motor's mouvements
2nd : verify and test endstops
3th : etc etc ...

For information, I use Duet controller with DC42 firmware, PanelDue, mini sensor.

Thank you very much.

Laurent

If you want to do manual 4-point calibration, use the procedure I describe here [miscsolutions.wordpress.com].

Alternatively, check the height sensor is working properly and calibrate the trigger height as described in the fitting instructions. Then, temporarily set the Z dive height high (e.g. 20mm) in the M558 H parameter, and set up the bed.g file and use auto calibration as described at [reprap.org].

Disclosure: I design Duet electronics and work on RepRapFirmware, [duet3d.com].
