FLSUN "tec support" is giving strange advice

After a week with about every 2 days to get back to me on why I'm getting error code that won't let me flash my board they send me a message that I should switch computers. Is this normal? Screen is showing blocks, my next a temp will be to remove the display and try and get it going. This is driving me crazy. They even told me to switch the wires around on the board to see if that works. Should I send the board back with the display?
