Rostock Troubleshooting

Hey 3D friends,
unfortunately I need help ones again.

My Rostock is fully assembled
Extruder and Bed are heating up quickly
Temp sensors and endstops are running good

But Rostock makes bullshit... Sometimes he's/is's homing normal, sometimes not. Sometimes he's driving smooth, sometimes Up and Down or driving 1 Axis down under the extruder ... I tried it with pronterface and repetier and got the same problems.

Here are some more informations about my system:
Printer Type: Rostock MAX
Arduino 2560 (software 1.0.5) - Ramps 1.3 with 6 endstops
If you need my firmware, I'll upload it for you

hi m,

i Think, that it can be only a bug in your Firmware (maybe Marlin) or the adjustment for your Stepperdrivers.

Better you call me (0049 (0) 1788886712) for Troubleshooting.
Your Informations are to small to analize the error/s...

Have Fun
Angelo

1.Check for loose pin connections or broken wires
2. Check the rodlength settings in the firmware(rodlength, delta offset, effector offset etc.)
3. you may be try-ing to print outside the printable area or build dimensions(settings in pronterface and repetier-host)

Thanks for your help!

I found a defect capacitor in my power supply. I'll replace it.

@angelo: Thanks, I would call you in a few days if I couldn't solve the problem smiling smiley
