[SOLVED] RichRap's 3DR-Delta: what size/torque motors to use?

Hi guys! I'm building a 3DR-delta printer, this is my first printer so wish me luck!
So far I've made a nice list of things I'm going to need and am slowly getting it all together.

One thing I'm stuck on is that I don't know what size motors to buy.
How much power will the I need?

I think G3D A4988 drivers on a RAMPS1.4 board are a good choice (already got the ramps board still need to buy drivers).
Advice is much appreciated smiling smiley smiling smiley

Ok I've answered my own question.
From: [richrap.blogspot.co.uk]

It says to use:
4 x NEMA17 Stepper Motor's - ideally over 1.2M versions (look for 1.7A or 2.5A) max 50mm Long body.

I'm using 0.9A motors with 0.149Nm holding torque for motion and the extruder and haven't had any problems with skipped steps. The towers don't require much torque, and with 1.75mm filament and reduction gearing the extruder doesn't either.

Thats good to hear.

I think I'll go order some motors! Seeing torque shouldn't be an issue I'll go ahead and get some with 0.9 degree stepping. EDIT: No, on second thoughts I'll opt for some 1.8degree steppers.
