Using Reptier 0.91 and Mac Repetier Host

Request positive Z movement (up) and X/Z move up but Y moves down
Request negative Z movement (down) and all three move down

Where should I be checking for this weird Y movement?

Just guessing...that sounds like it might be a wiring issue for the Y stepper. You can try swapping the wires between Y and the X or Z to see if you get the same behavior.

Seems I might have a bad stepper driver. I swapped it and the problem moved with it. I replaced with the one I was going to use for the extruder and now all steppers move in sync and in the same direction. Now I just need to do the other bazillion steps but not bad for a Sunday. I have working Firmware including my display and it can at least home now.

Did ypou solder the drivers headers yourself? Inspect the joints and reflow and iffy or cold solder joints. If that was greek then

Nope, I bought these. Probably will take a magnifying glass to it to see if there is a problem. Reflowing the direction pin will be easy to try.
