Three point effector

I like to test three point effector that three diagonal rods are connected.
Three points form a perfect plane in geometry. I had this idea few weeks ago and was contemplating it.

I found one 3D Printer company that uses three point effector with six diagonal rods yesterday.

Three Sphere System (TSS) of [www.spiderbot.eu]

That isnt adding to the stability of the carriage I would say and two rods on one balljoint also descreases the possible horizontal angle of the arms besides that Its surely worth a try

The spiderbot system will be easier to manufacture, but you may need a larger ball bearing relative to the arm (diameter) size than when six ball bearings are used.

There isn't any limit on the number of arms per tower. The only real requirements are they are the same length and they are parallel. You will also need to have much tighter tolerances when using more than two arms per tower.
