Kossel mini jamming with Bronzefill
August 22, 2015 03:57AM
Hi all smiling smiley

I'm trying to print with bronzefill sample and I have some issues.

It's mainly jamming.
I have to mention my printer is working perfectly for 8 months now with PLA.

But with the bronzefill It's very difficult to extrude, the most I've done is around 2 minutes before jam.
On the first time it was jamming when loading the filament, I manage to succed loading by raising the hot end temperature.
Even with higher temp (actually 225°C) there is jamming after the first layer.

Do you have any advice ?

What´s the nozzle size? IIRC it would be best to print those special filaments with 0.5mm nozzle at least.

My hot end is an original E3D V6 with 0.4mm nozzle.

Check with the maker of the filament for the size of the metal dust. I had similar problems with wood filament, the dust had the same max size as the nozzle = jam
