Repetier homing issue on Folger Tech Kossel
January 10, 2016 12:50PM
Hi folks! I am trying to get my newly built Folger Tech Kossel 2020 up and running with Repetier firmware and using Repetier Host. When I home all, the axes rise to the end stops as expected, home, but then descend 40mm. The Z counter still reads zero, and therefore my bed is 40mm higher than the printer thinks it is.

This does not happen in Marlin. What should I be looking for? I am using the configuration files from paul_delta.

Thanks for any help, this has been a challenge to get running.

look for the following in configuration.h. I have 5 setup for mine

#define ENDSTOP_X_BACK_ON_HOME 5
#define ENDSTOP_Y_BACK_ON_HOME 5
#define ENDSTOP_Z_BACK_ON_HOME 5

Thanks! I see those are set to 20.

The question is why doesn't the printer know it backed off to that value? It still thinks Z is at 0 after that back on home move is made.
