Bed levelling problem - hotend too close to the bed at centre

Hi, All

I am new to 3d printer. Just assembled my first delta printer (micromake). Now I am having problems levelling it.

The stock firmware has auto calibration feature, but it didn't work for me, it shows calibrated, but when I print, the hotend is too high at x direction.
So I installed latest Marlin 1.1 RC, I followed this steps:

1: find the center of the bed, mark it
2: adjust the stop screws at the top of x y z bar to make sure the hotend touches the centre point of the bed.
3: detect the Z home height by moving the head up and down, then save the value in configuration.h and burn it. After this, when I run g1 z0, it goes direct to the bed, with no or little tiny space.
4: run the following commands to adjust the screws to make the space between hotend and bed is almost touching (paper thick):
G1 X50 Y0 Z5 -> G1 X50 Y0 Z0
G1 X-50 Y0 Z5 -> G1 X-50 Y0 Z0

G1 Y50 Y0 Z5 -> G1 Y50 Y0 Z0
G1 Y-50 Y0 Z5 -> G1 Y50 Y0 Z0
5: after step 4, I made sure the above 4 points are all good. Now when I go back to G1 X0 Y0 Z0, the hotend is touching the bed, the space is too tight, too me it seems about 1-1.5mm off,

How can I fix that?

the glass bed is not adjustable.

thanks!

try adjusting "DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET" on the firmware, follow the guide on the link below for more info.
