nGEN PLA from ColorFabb

I have printed now about 1.5 Kg of the nGEN PLA from ColorFabb and I didn't had one single Hot-End clog. On top of that the shrinkage is very consistent and no warping on big parts. (>120x120 mm)
Before randomly my Hot-End was clogging and that is not nice in a 10 or more hours print.
The nGEN PLA material is quite expensive but for me worth a lot because I can start a print and don't have to worry anymore for having starting all over again.
- Bed temperature first layer 80 C second and all other layers 70 C
- No cooling. (I never cool)
- Hot-End temperature first layer 235C and all other layers 230. (as recommended by ColorFabb)
- Sugar water as sticking material. (Two layers)

and yes, ... that hot for nGEN PLA

nGen is not PLA, it is according to the web site a "co-polyester".
My initial experience was positive, but I found that the roll I had was inconsistent, and had spots where layer bonding was terrible. I also found that this filament shows layers a lot more than anything else I've tried. I found issues too when printing finer layers (.05mm).
I too was very happy initially, but after completing a roll through I don't think I'll be buying again.

Oops, yeah 0.05 mm layer thickness, that's just 0.03 mm over my Delta repetitiveness value, amazing low layer thickness.
It wouldn't work for my Delta printer and more for my Hot-End, in fact I never have seen a low layer thickness like that, ... good job.
