Using Melzi v2.0 control board for delta.

Hello all,

After owning a couple of Duplicator i3's for a while, I have spare Melzi 2.0 board which I'd like to use to control a delta printer. However, I've thought of an issue regarding bed levelling. Obviously I can't replace the Z-endstop with a sensor because the 3 axis' each require their own endstops, the Melzi board only has room for 3... How could I go about implementing auto bed levelling without using an endstop slot on the board?

Cheers,

Tom

i am not familiar with Melzi but looking at the picture of the board, you probably can remap the bed temperature port as Z the probe, if you're willing to give up using a board controlled heated bed all together.

Never thought of that, will read into it. If you've seen any examples of people who have done similar, please show me if you can!
