for carriage i have took this made in germany
[www.igus.fr]
it s the same price than cheap chinese and the quality is not the same..made in germany standart .

i have take my corners on robotdigg website (90euro with shipping cost)
i have already some others parts like hotend, belt, gears and ir sensor, inductive and capacitive sensor for auto bed
for motors i have bought nema 23 for this size i think it s better than standart.

one thing i don t buy it s the extruder...i don t know what is the best for this size...i don t want flyhing extruder because it has bad looking..
i only print pla so i will don t buy heatbed for the moment
i will take pictures as soon as i will receive all my parts! i think the way is long before my next printer will be ready but it s what i like winking smiley

Oh thank you. I was planning on using the same igus carriages and rails and was thinking about the metal carriages because the hole pattern is 15*20 and the Robotdigg ones were 20*20. I was thinking of all kinds of solutions. But I'll probably go with those. How do the igus carriages slide? Smoothly without much play? Quiet?

Well look like a have a different version of what homemade mean, for me its made/produce your own parts more than assemble your own kit.

Do you consider home made cupcakes to be homemade only if the maker milled the grain into flour?

Have you worked out all the details yet, such as how long the arm are going to be?
Also, how do you plan on tensioning the belts with those carriages? It doesn't look like they're adjustable.
