MKS board malfunctioning

So I've got a Atom 2.0 machine using a MKS board (gen 1.4?) that's acting a bit weird.
When powered on, the screen does not display anything, but the fans will turn on, but the screen unit is fine, as it works fine when plugged into another machine.
when I measure the pins of 5V and ground of each pinout according to the attached schematics, they're all reading 5V correctly.
When USB is plugged in, the computer cannot detect the board.

does this mean the board it dead/fried? or is there some kind of quick fix?

Prise off the two plastic display connector shrouds on the MKS Gen board (EXP1 & EXP2), then turn them 180deg and put them back on.

MKS have built ALL their boards with the two display connectors on back to front. So everyone who buys their boards have to put their own boards right, because MKS won't.

thanks for the reply
after some fiddling I've found the problem, one of the 2 pin plugs was plugged in wrong, after correcting it, everything forks fine now.
