List of open designs?

i've built a reprap and i love it! However, now that i've started learning to model my own 3D objects i've realized how limited the machine actually is. A DLP printer seems to be the obvious next step (right?). Are there any published open-source designs, working software (i'm not a software guy)? Let's make this thread a list of projects! But please, no crowdfunding projects without any useful details published...

Not the answer you asked for but consider soluble support materials for reprap. PVA is water soluble but pricey. However I am not sure if DLP resins are cheaper...

[www.instructables.com] This is a quite simple approach. Seems to me that a printer like prusa i3 could be perfectly used in this... Turn it upside down. Fix laser in a place of bed and a platform in a place of extruder. Change the z axis motor direction and there you have FDM printer converted to SLA. Looks like even a software can be left the same from FDM.

How is the strength of the resin compared to ABS?
