hi.

Is ABS available in form of liquid material?
If so, is it possible to mix in diffrent colorpowder/liquid to ABS?
Is it possibe to add hardener into that mixed ABS which will be imediately activated by heat?

thanks and regards

... to your questions:

1. - you can solve ABS-dust in acetone to get a fluid or paste, depending on the concentrations.

2. - you can add/mix dye or pigment do the paste or fluid.

3. - with heating the paste dries (the acetone evaporates) to solid, but will shrink/warp more than with FDM-printing.

Thank You for answer.

I wonder why the direction of creating colorprinters didnt turn out in the above direction, first using a colormixing chamber, then mixing resulting colorpigment with abspaste before printing? Is it perhaps of reasons in chap.3?
