any ramps board can run a scara printer . just dont go crazy with highly segmented models.. most firmwares now support a scara printer. the easiest firmware to modify for scara is smoothie

RepRapFirmware on Duet supports serial SCARA in the standard distribution binary. Most other firmwares these days support SCARA if you recompile them with SCARA support enabled.

8-bit processors struggle to run SCARA printers unless the print speed is set very low. Whether that is a problem for you will depend on whether your SCARA mechanics are capable of higher speeds.
