hi folks,

the portabee was released yesterday.
- 120mm x 120mm x 120mm build area.
- can be packed inside a laptop bag.
- has a heated print platform called longbed
- uses gen6.d electronics (with fan, sd card, bed heating capabilities)
- blah blah..

and free delivery in singapore or you can come to our office to pick up (1 week leadtime) after you placed your order.

this was designed and catered for people who had hoped for less bulk in 3d printers. It could open the path for roving designers who move from place to place to showcase their design to their customers on-site. (macam our pasar malam but with less bulk).

it felt to us like 3d printers are moving towards the era of being able to transform. and also, this is a reprap.

The carriage looks very interesting.. working on a vertical x axis on my printer and that might be jsut what I need.
Where can I find the stl/ openscad files?

I found Makerbot 2 month ago and then saw reprap site few weeks back. It's so cool it that you guys are starting it in SG. I intend to build a reprap for printing some prototype. Maybe I can join u guys for future meet ups.
