Reprappro mendel owner

Yes. I have a reprappro tricolor mendel. All up and running. Although i'm always tweaking and playing around that sometimes it goes haywire.

Hi great to here that, mendelmax is aluminium frame rite? where you get it?

I'm thinking of upgarde my mendel to alum frame but no idea where can find alum profile here, anyone know where?

Given that this is my first build. I order the complete kits from Malaysia. @us$699. The seller is very helpful. He provide me with a lot of help and instruction and even send me replacement printed parts (I broke it). I m still build. Should be able to do my first test print this weekend.

Im currently busy converting my prusa mendel to an Air 2
Prusa AIr 2

I have had the plexiglass side frames cut locally ( 6mm acrylic (very dark tint) ) and have added the basic hardware ready to move the "mechanics and electronics across

Printed parts so far include
3 X 90 degree brackets to assemble the Air 2 frame
4 X bar clamps for the y axis rods
4 X washers for the Y axis belt bearings
1 X Y axis stepper mount
Cost so far is S$ 100 for the laser cut parts and +/- 25 S$ for nuts , washers, thread rod ( all stainless steel) and 2 SKF bearings for the Y belt idlers
