Hi Vik,

I'm Sebastian - one of the co-founders of 3D Print Place. The site is very different from Thingiverse: We tried creating a fully user-fueled platform that is able to make 3D printing more accessible to home users. Users can offer a bunch of 3D printing services to other users - so in addition to being able to share CAD files for free, users can also collaborate on files, sell files (and keep 100% of the profit), participate in contests, easily find and compare fillament, printers or scanners, offer/ provide a 3d printing or scanning service, ....and many more great functions. I encourage you to explore the site and let us know how we can improve it. Please take a personal look at the website and you will see that is in now way close to thingiverse
