those are definitely things i would love to see reprapped. i imagine
once we get a machine out there, there will be a second generation of
people who crop up to handle side projects like that.

i really see the reprap project being roughly equivalent to the linux
kernel, allowing others to build on top of the technology and come up
with cool things like that in the same way that apache, gnome, kde,
etc. have all built off linux as a base.

now, who is gonna be the one in the group that gets all gnu/crazy on us? tongue sticking out smiley

Yup - I agree. I'm sure that if we succeed there will be loads of this sort of
activity.
