Carriage and extruder suggestions for Greg's extruder

Hi,

I have a modified version of Greg's geared extruder in my setup. I have tried to find a version with dual printing heads but haven't been able yet. A lot of the designs in Thingiverse are for Bowden or direct type extruders. So, do you have a suggestion for an X carriage and dual extruder? Would it be too heavy?

There's this hybrid geared / bowden extruder on thingiverse. Dual geared extruders on the x-carriage would be heavy, so this seems a reasonable compromise. It is for the E3D extruder, but could be modified to support other types.
