I am using the Marlin Delta firmware to control a delta robot (not a printer). I need to set the home position at or near the base of the machine ( what would be the print bed on a printer). After homing, I move the effector to the position where I want the new home to be, then issue a G92 X0 Y0 Z0 gcode. The firmware reports the correct position i.e. 0,0,0, but any movement command after this drives the three carriages up to the top limits and beyond.
Here are my initial commands:
G28
G0 Z13.8 F5000
G0 X2.6 Y-32.1
G92 X0 Y0 Z0
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if in fact the G92 works for the delta firmware?
