Im having a problem with pronterface. When I turned off any switch(not the 1 to which printer is connected), printer goes offline. Plz help me out

And USB port is also not working. What should I do to fix this problem?

I had a similar problem when I added an 18 inch USB extension cable. Keep your USB cables short, or, if you need to exceed about 2 meters, add a powered USB hub in the middle.

Low quality USB cables will mess you up equally bad
