I saw it printing in NYC as well, and the machine looked impressive to say the least. The mixing screw seemed to work well, and the purge times are adjustable so you can get a clean break between color swaps or blends. Very impressive. 3.2K I though was reasonanble for all the development it took to get there.
The cartridges are .2kg each and were neatly stored under the printer with a small bowden style extruder on each, and it has 5 on the right side, C M Y K W. On the left side, it used PVA. It seemed like the whole head toggled a bit to prevent ooze from contaminating the print from the other extruder.
It was the most impressive (consumer) printer in the show other than the big industrial printers.
