51 oz-in stepper for extruder?

I'm working on putting together all the info for a prusa i3 build.

I'm wondering if a 51 oz-in stepper would be enough for a wade's extruder or some other reliable extruder?

Also any idea if those would work ok for the x,y,z axis motors?

That should be okay for x,y,z, and e. I can confirm from personal experience that you can use that to drive a 1.75mm filament drive.

Less torque will translate to less acceleration. However, most printers' normal operation is no where close to the machine limits. Worse case scenario is that you have to get drive pulleys with a few less teeth which will reduce the top speed that you won't use anyways.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 51 oz-in motors they were to good a deal to be passed up. I also talked to the guy who makes the controller I'm going to be using and he said there would be no issue driving them with his controller.
