Noob question. Do you use these for your Z movement? I did not provide anti-backslash nuts in my design, yet. Because as i understand it, the Z unit (bed or printhead) will always stop on one side of the hysteresis. So if the, lets say, bed wants to move from a height of 100.0 down to a height of 99.9, i expected the bed to travel first 0.2 or 0.3 down and then up to 99.9 again. If the bed drives to its position always form one direction (from bottom to top) there should be no problem. Am i right, or not?

But the design of these nuts looks good. It also should be printable!

I really don't know in fdm machines...but I have been using inm my diy 3d dlp resin system and it's very accurate...i print at 25 microns with very consistent layers. But I have to say that I use this kind of nut with a trapezoidal leadscrew (ACME in the US). But it must work nice in fdm printres as well.

The qtec store provides it very cheap and I think it's woth it to try (if u are based in Europe)....if not, just go DumpsterCnc
