ecksbot printer new chip

hi guys... when I baught my printer I built it and when I wanted to start using it i found that some components were not working (hotend, extruder motor and hot bed)

On closer inspection I found that my bios chip was inserted the wrong way around... I fully tested the board and did in fact find that because the bios chip was the wrong way around it got damaged and is no longer functioning properly...

does anyone know what a new chip would cost on its own and even a new board with all the components except the motor controllers...

Thank you so much in advance.

Send the thing back for an exchange. If you buy something it should work. Not your responsibility to fix a vendors failure.

Or if it was a kit you put together yourself then a new chip should cost you about $8 in single quantity. You'll also need a way to burn the bootloader onto it. Your usb-serial cable will load fimware but it won't burn the bootloader.
