Anybody have experiance?

I want m6 brass threaded rod with m3 bore for use with a hotend.
I can get made locally cheap if i buy like 20 pieces at 60mm long ($5 ish)
I could use all. Or sell cheap. But to expensive to blindly experiament.

Before i order i want to know if it has benifits over stickiness of PLA on stainless?

I know i could put ptfe. But want to experiament with higher temps
Or i couls just get stainless for the same price.

I want to print in abs and pla and also high temp stuff.

Depends on what part you're using it for. Heatbreaks are SS no questions. Yes, brass will work, but not near as effective, maybe not even half so. I've seen people upgrade brass hotends with SS parts. I'm not too knowledgeable on hotends yet, though.

As MrDoctorDIV said, depends on where you use it, using brass for the complete hotend is not possible, you need a thermal barrier.
But with a thermal barrier brass is no problem, the V10 is since years with a small PEEK barrier.
Cheap to produce and no problems with friction.
I`m printing with my V10 derivates up to 400mm/s ( ABS 1,75mm), so it would say it more depends on what hotend design you will make
