Stepper for Y-axis dont work

Hi. My brand new Reprap printer does not work OK. The driver for the Y-stepper has gone, the signals to the A4983 is OK but no output signal. All four line to the stepper motor are zero. My reflections are: Is the motor OK or has the chip been to warm. It need a cooling pad under the chip. Where can I find a shematic diagram over the electronics?

Which reprap is it, and which electronics?

Large delta printer [miscsolutions.wordpress.com], E3D tool changer, Robotdigg SCARA printer, Crane Quad and Ormerod

Disclosure: I design Duet electronics and work on RepRapFirmware, [duet3d.com].

I have not found any nameplate on it. The stepperdrivers are A4983 from Allegro. Here are some pictures. I hope it may be helpful. In other way, I must ask my dealer.

Looks like a melzi variant eg based on [reprap.org] home page for Melzi [reprap.org]

Sadly its a all in one board.

If one driver isnt working you have two options.

Get someone who is good at surface mount to replace that chip, or get a new board.
